Oman e-visa was introduced in 2018 to simplify the process of getting a tourist visa to Oman.

Oman e-visa is an electronic travel authorization that allows citizens of eligible countries to travel to and within Oman for tourism purpose.  It is processed electronically and the authorization to travel is sent via email.

Oman e-visa can be issued for single or multiple entries.

Single entry visa or multiple entries can be issued without sponsor from Oman to nationals under LIST 1 (click here for the list of countries).

A single entry visa is valid for use within 6 months from the date of issuance, for a maximum stay of 10-30 days from the date entry.

Multiple entry visa is valid for use within 3 months from the date of issue and the duration is for multiple entries for 6-12 months for maximum duration of stay of not more than 3 weeks.

Oman entry requirements:

• Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your arrival date and must have at least 1 blank visa page for stamping by the Immigration Officer.
• You must carry a copy of the e-Visa printout.
• A copy of your hotel confirmation or cruise ship confirmation.
• A copy of your return or onward flight or cruise itinerary.

Important Instructions:

• The Oman e-Visa must be used to enter Oman within 6 months of approval for single entry and within 3 months for multiple entries.
• The applicant must be outside The Sultanate of Oman at the time of application.
• This e-Visa does not require a sponsor in Oman.
• The applicant must not have any current Oman visa.
